This capacious new setup provides the rich creative space that performers of all disciplines desire with an eight-meter-high ceiling, backed by powerful technical equipment. The Enka Amphitheatre ranks among İstanbul's principal open-air venues with capacity for an audience of 1000 spectators.
Also situated on the Sadi Gülçelik Sports Center, the Auditorium has hosted culture and arts performances during the fall and winter months for the past five years. Able to accommodate an audience of up to 650 people, it is the venue of choice for prominent national and international art institutions with its modern foyer, contemporary design, professional technical equipment and backstage facilities that enable diverse staging techniques.
Concerts, theater and ballet are among the winter activities that draw enthusiasts throughout the season. Additionally the auditorium hosts such significant events as the International Theater Festival and the International Puppet Festival. Some of the famous groups the auditorium has hosted are: The Wooster Group, Grotowsky Workcenter, Penza State Theatre, Teatro Vascello and Berbardo Monted.
