Over the last 24 years, Enka Foundation has hosted over 24,000 audiences with its culture and arts events, ranging from jazz to classical music, pop to ethnic music performances, modern and classical ballet and dances, selected films of the season, as well as theater performances reflecting various disciplines which are usually spread throughout the year.
Amphitheatre
Located within Enka Foundation's Sadi Gülçelik Sports Center, the Enka Amphitheatre was first built in 1984. However in 2004 it was renovated with the additional introduction of a steel stage canopy that enhanced its modern appearance and function. This capacious new setup provides the rich creative space that performers of all disciplines desire with an eight-meter-high ceiling,backed by powerful technical equipment. The Enka Amphitheatre ranks among İstanbul's principal open-air venues with capacity for an audience of 1000 spectators.
Auditorium
Also situated on the Sadi Gülçelik Sports Center, the Auditorium has hosted culture and arts performances during the fall and winter months for the past five years. Able to accommodate an audience of up to 650 people, it is the venue of choice for prominent national and international art institutions with its modern foyer, contemporary design, professional technical equipment and backstage facilities that enable diverse staging techniques.
Concerts, theater and ballet are among the winter activities that draw enthusiasts throughout the season. Additionally the auditorium hosts such significant events as the International Theater Festival and the International Puppet Festival. Some of the famous groups the auditorium has hosted are: The Wooster Group, Grotowsky Workcenter, Penza State Theatre, Teatro Vascello and Berbardo Monted.
Art Gallery
The Art Gallery, founded in 2002, is supported by Enka Schools and Enka Foundation. From the first day of its launch, the gallery has hosted many local, national and international artists such as John D'agostino, Jeff Day, Devrim Erbil, Sevgi Çağal and Nüzhet Kutluğ.
The gallery exhibits art for audiences of all ages. With its art gallery exhibitions, students attending Enka Schools are not only afforded exposure to different fields of visual arts but are provided the opportunity to become acquainted with, and interact with artists. In this manner, the art gallery is a vital component of a student's visual art education.
