ENKA has many years of experience in petrochemical projects. ENKA and Bechtel have carried out an extensive range of engineering, procurement and construction services in the western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1993. Most of the works were carried out in phases to allow the plant processes to continue uninterrupted.

In the realization of the Second Generation Project, without any Lost Time Accident (LTA), during a continuous period of 18,194,385 hours in 2006 and with the work of the multinational site safety management group, Senimdi Kurylys, the ENKA and Bechtel joint subsidary, has achieved a  worldwide record-beating safety record, recognized as "Best in Class" performance by its client, Tengizchevroil (TCO).
